SurveyToGo Progress Report

Overview

The purpose of the Progress Report to provide the Management with an idea of the progress in the field in terms of how many interviews were Completed/Terminated/Over Quota etc. 

Important Note: The below describes the progress report as can be consulted from within the Studio. Please note that the progress report is also available for an online review through the SurveyToGo Insights as described here: Insights

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Project tree and expand it
  2. Expand the 'Dashboards' tree and double click on 'Progress Report'

  3. In the following screen - choose the survey you would like to review and the parameters and click 'Refresh'

  4. The report is divided to 3 main sections
    • Interview Statistics - Will show a grid with the details on the interviews that were completed/incomplete and terminated.

      • SubjectID - Will show the subject ID of the interview
      • Completed - Indicates whether the interview was completed or not (checked for completed)
      • Termination Action - Indicates the Termination status - Cancelled / Filtered
      • Termination Action Reason - Will indicate the reason for termination if it's by Quota/Script
      • Over Quota Action - Cancel or Filter
      • Over Quota Name - The bucket name for the over quota
      • Stop Question - The Question Index the interview stopped at
      • Stop Question Variable - The Question variable name the interview stopped at
      • Stop Question Text - The question text where the interview stopped at.
      • Survey Version - The survey version the interview was conducted with.
      • Status - The uploaded subject status
      • Test Subject - Indicates if it's Test/Production subject
      • Ticket # - the Ticket identification that is created in the link
      • Identifier - For Anonymous Unique links the identifier entered (usually displayed as uid).
      • Name - the identifier Name that is entered in the link sent 
      • Start Time - The start time of the interview 
      • Last Modified Time - The last time that the interview was modified 
      • Submit Time - The last update/submit time of the interview
      • Client Duration - The duration of the interview
      • Method - Indicates if the interview is CAWI/CAPI
    • Summary Report - Will show a summary of all the Completed/Terminated/Incomplete interview totals

      • Completes - Total/Percentage interviews that were completed. 
      • Incompletes - Total/Percentage interviews that were not completed. 
      • Terminated / Filtered - Total/Percentage interviews that were Terminated by 'Filter' Action (Script/Jump Rule).
      • Terminated / Canceled -  Total/Percentage interviews that were Terminated by 'Cancel' Action (Script/Jump Rule).
      • Over Quota / Filtered - Total/Percentage interviews that were Over Quota with 'Filter' Exceed Action.
      • Over Quota / Canceled - Total/Percentage interviews that were Over Quota with 'Cancel' Exceed Action.
      • Total - Total number of interviews overall and the percentage. 
    • Incidence Status - Calculates the Incidence status percentage, the total completed out of those completed & terminated

    • Terminate Statistics - Details on the Terminated interviews and how many interviews were terminated and in which question

      • Stop Question - The Question Index the interview stopped at
      • Stop Question Variable - The Question variable name the interview stopped at
      • Stop Question Text - The question text where the interview stopped at.
      • Survey Version - The survey version the interview was conducted with.
      • Count- The number of interviews
      • % - The percentage from the total interviews 
    • Incomplete Statistics - Details on the interviews that were not yet completed and how many interviews were dropped at each questions

      • Stop Question Text - The question text where the interview stopped at.
      • Survey Version - The survey version the interview was conducted with.
      • Count- The number of interviews
      • % - The percentage from the total interviews 
    • Over Quota Statistics - Details on the interviews that were terminated by over Quota either Filter or Cancel.

      • Quota Name - the Name of the terminated quota
      • Terminated / Canceled Count - count of the interviews that were Cancelled
      • Terminated / Filtered Count - count of the interviews that were Filtered
      • All Terminated - Count of all the terminated for the quota
      • All Terminated % (Of Total Terminated) - Percentage of terminated from the total terminated

Please note:

  • Variable Name & Question Text - will be shown when the below is met:
    • when the Subject was made with the latest version of the survey.
    • The survey property "Use up-to-date "Stop Question" is enabled

  • If you have a QA chapter or Dummy question at the end of the survey and the interview is submitted you will see that question as the StopQ in the report, if you enable the option called 'Use last Visible Question in page as 'Stop Question' in the Survey Properties (see below) it will show the actual visited question and ignore those questions that are not shown.

  • Currently Terminated (Canceled) & Incomplete Interviews on CAPI will not be displayed here as they are not synced to the server.
  • API URL - Summary Report is not part of the information that is included in the link only the grid table.
