How to Configure the Two Statements Table Layout Render Mode in a single choice grid question

Overview

The Two Statements Table Layout render mode allows you to display two topics columns in a single choice grid question – One column on the left, one on the right, separated by the Answers headers. This is mainly useful if you want to rate answers between pairs of statements (coding the answer as closest to the statement it is most true for): 

 

1. Step 1: Add the topics in the “two statements” format

Step 1: Add the topics in the “two statements” format

Each pair of statements needs to be written as a single topic, where the sign “^^^” separates between the two texts. So eventually the Topics list would look like this:

In the question’s Answers tab, choose the “Two Statements Table Layout” render mode at the bottom of the tab:
