How To Generate a Unique Respondent Id

Overview

It is often requested to generate a unique value for each interview that will be part of the survey data that can be used along the script and viewed later on the device and / or in the interview data.

Each interview has a unique Device generated identifier (available during the interview)  that corresponds to the server generated subject ID which can be accessed from within the script and is named DisplayDeviceIndex

This unique value as generated above also appears under the "Global Index" column that can be viewed in the operation console.
